I believe they use the wrong potatoes for their fries.. Their food is quite good for what you pay. I have been to this location many times as well as a couple of their other locations. The reason their french fries suck is because of the type of potatoes they use. They need to choose a high starch low moisture potato. They also need to fry them twice for best results – not sure if they do this. A low sugar content will also provide a nice golden colored fry vs the darker brown. With that said, the fritters and chicken are quite good. The chicken strips are very good as well. The batter on their chicken could use a bit of zing, but for a generally fried chicken it isn’t bad.
