This was a treat and much different from our typical Saturday lunch. It starts with a friendly greating from Battista who I assume is the owner. He explained what they offered which is around ten different Calzones. I picked the Giovanna. It was unique but good. The dough was wonderful, as you would expect from owner made food. They arrived piping hot . I thought at first that I might leave hungry but it was quite filling. These Calzones are unique in Edmonton. It’s just too bad that they are not located downtown or on Whyte. Be sure to come hungry because then you can share a dessert Calzone with chocolate and strawberries for the filling.@ Delicious again. This is a a 4.5 out of 5 star Caf. If they sold coffee I might have given them a rare 5. I recommend Battista’s to everyone as this is a destination cafe.
