OMG!! its was amazing!. I love the food, its was delicious and fantastic. its the best African food I’ve ever tasted in Edmonton ! The staff was very polite and the place had great customer service. I recommend the chicken suqaar and the rice!
Great service, great food and clean restaurant! I had a groupon here and I had no problems using it. When I handed my groupon to the waitress, she was happy to take it!Samosas were good, fresh.Had the chicken and rice and salad ($12) great deal! Compliemntary mango juice and soup. Wowwww sooo awesome 🙂 highly recommend the place!!!
Very good!. Went as a group of 4 with one groupon. No trouble using the groupon and our server was very friendly, told us all about the food and what we were ordering. Tried the sampler platter – lots of food! Appetizers were great, the beef sambusas are fantastic! Also loved the African Chai tea – delicious! I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. Prices are amazing for the amount of food you get.
We were headed to a Jamaican place down the street but it was closed so we ended up here and were pleasantly surprised!!!The prices are inexpensive. Our huge platter for two people was $24 and could easily feed three although we managed somehow to scarf it all down. Chai tea was spicy and sweet. Better than Indian chai. Hot sauce was great. Food amazingly tasty and the goat was my favorite. Often goat can be tough but it was tender and juicy. Beef samosa was loaded with meat and tasty. Service was friendly and fast. They also offer hookah pipes after 9pm. We are already planning when to come back and bring friends.
Fast service, good, inexpensive Somali-influenced food. Goat Suqaar and Rice was delicious, although the salad served alongside was bland, and Western.
Went for lunch and the saraaq was fantastic! First time eating Somalian food and I’ll definitely eat here again. Friendly service, free soup and well priced.
