Otto has some of the best sausages I’ve ever tried, granted I haven’t been a sausage connoisseur at any point in my life. It is fairly pricey to eat ere though, their menu is just too expensive to eat here regularly. They have a nice selection of local beers to try too. Worth it to go to at least once, and if you speak with Otto himself you’ll get to understand his direction and vision for his restaurant and the neighbourhood. He’s a super nice and friendly dude.

When i first heard about Otto I was intrigued by a sausage specializing restaurant. We went with another couple on a Friday night and we’re very happy with our visit. It is not in the most glamorous neighbourhood to be honest, but don’t let that scare you off. It was very clean, and had a super comfortable atmosphere. They had many local beers, both in bottle and on tap, and several specials to go with their regular menu. We ordered 6 different kinds of sausage, which admittedly may have been a little overkill, but I don’t regret it at all. They were all great. We got some hot mustard on the side that went great with all of the meat, and several side dishes. The sides were all devoured as eagerly as the sausages, and the beer (and ciders) washed them both down. Our server was very knowledgable and on the ball with all of our needs. We will definitely be back again, and if you are in the mood for something a little different, I recommend you check it out.
Went with a couple friends and tried most of the food menu. Otto dog and Andouille were our favourites. The mac and cheese and fries were also pretty outstanding. Beets were tasty but a bit undercooked. Less emphasis on IPAs and some Trippels and Saisons would be appreciated.
Ottos has quicky become my absolute, hands down favourite restaurant. That’s not to say that it’s perfect. The mac and cheese is usually great but last time it was a touch bland. HOWEVER the sausage and fries are always phenomenal. Not a meat eater? Well they have vegetarian stuff too. I tried one of them, even though I enjoy meat, and it wasn’t bad. Although I still prefer the meat ones. Try the Otto Dog with hopped mustard. It’s a game changer. I know this sounds shilly but honestly this restaurant deserves to be tried at least once. The owner is also the nicest man in the world. My family and I went there yesterday to celebrate something and we told him it was my favourite restaurant. It lit him up like a kid at christmas. Try this place at least once and order a few things and share. You won’t regret it.
Friend had been here before and was excited to take us. Front of building has a garage door they open. Great selection of local beer. Owner and staff are very nice and accommodating. Had the beet and goat cheese salad and fish croquet’s. Shared fries and potato salad with friends. Food was tasty and space was was unique.
