Good, honest food. For $9.50 per entree (flat rate), you receive a generous portion of food. The food is tasty, and is unpretentiously plated like a homecooked meal. The food was mildly spicy, so it shouldn’t overwhelm, but a nice portion of jerk sauce accompanies the meal for those looking to spice it up. The only drawback is that all beverages, including water come bottled. I assume this is done to cut down on dishes, and the fair prices make it a nonissue; my bottled malt beverage was $2.50, while all beer is $5.00.Given that this place is presumably run by newer local people, and the honest, tasty food, I’ll be happy to trek over again. I’d be a regular if I lived closer.
