The pho was not great.. Even bring new to pho I knew that it wasn’t what good pho tasted like. The meat was way over cooked and the broth flavourless.
Have to admit I am surprised this place does not have a higher rating. I may be being biased but I have come here every Friday after work for the past year or so to get 2 orders of the #28 beef vermicelli bowls for me and my wife. Never once have I been disappointed by the quality of the food or the welcoming I get when I come in to pick up the order. The ladies who pick up the phone already know its me when I call in to place my order. Although I do not dine in I see the attentiveness of the servers and the food is great. Is you already could not tell how much I like ordering #28 you should give it a try
The first time I had been to PhoXpress was nearly a year ago and as a result of poor service and poor food, I didn’t want to go back. I decided to give the place another try as it’s such a convenient location from my house and I am so glad that I did! My husband, two daughters and I were immediately greeted with a warm smile from a young lady at the restaurant. Despite it being a busy Friday evening, service from her was great, she checked up frequently without over doing it and as I mentioned earlier- always had a warm smile on her face. She even made jokes and compliments towards our younger kids which was refreshing since most servers roll their eyes at loud young kids. We had a hard time deciding what to eat as we usually do not eat Vietnamese food but the server was very helpful and all the food she recommended tasted amazing. Nonetheless, very happy with the quality service we got from the adorable server we had plus the food!!! We will definitely be coming back more often.
Friendly staff but poor quality food, flavourless broth and overcooked meat. Salad rolls are 80% vermicelli, very little shrimp. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you are in a rush , unfortunately this end of the city doesn’t offer much choice in terms of take out.
Well this place was pretty much at the bottom of the barrel for pho I’ve ever had. Come here at around 545 it’s a little bit busy but nothing crazy. Get our own table and server comes to take our drink order when she realized the table was dirty so that took her ten minutes just to get a table cloth. After that we ordered right away, not thinking it would take 50min to get all of our food at once. The food was decent, but my vermicelli bowl was a different story. Not very much meat and the fish oil leaked out of the bottom of the bowl? I do not recommend coming here ever unless you have two hours to get a phoslow!
I like the PHo, the Debbie Downer is they don’t serve you tea like the other Vietnamese restaurants, you have to ask and PAY for it, and it’s a clean place to eat
