Certainly not the prettiest restaurant I have dinned in. But this is the only reason it gets a 4 out of 5. The food on the other hand is quite fantastic. Every dish I have eaten so far has been exceptional in flavor and portion size. I would highly recommend The Tandoor to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine. It is on the higher side price wise but I still find it worth the cost due to portion size and food quality.
This querky restaurant hands down serves the best Indian food around. The traditional flavors are phenomenal. From their samosas to mutton korma, everything on their menu leaves you wanting more. Prices are very reasonable. The only aspect this restaurant is lacking is atmosphere. Staff wears querky restaurant branded shirts and the place seems rather dead 90% of the time. Nonetheless, behind the deceiving looks of this establishment the food is out of this world. Would recommend to anyone looking for great ethnic flavors.
This is a fantastic little indian restaurant. The food is flavourful and the portions are perfect. What struck me about the Tandoor is the pricing structure. Most indian restaurants I have frequented have always had high prices; whereas, the Tandoor keeps the prices relatively low. A prime example being the delicious vegetable samosa’s .75c per piece. Amazing value!I would rate the Tandoor a 5.0/5.0 if not for the lack of ambiance. It is a little hole in the wall with bare-bones dining accommodations. I think they thrive through pick-up services.
Amazing food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for great North Indian food. I tried this restaurant at a friend’s recommendation. I tried the chicken momos for starters. They were moist and juicy, well spiced and full of flavours. For my entrees I tried mutton korma, butter chicken and chicken curry. I was pleasantly surprised by the burst of flavours in the food. Don’t judge this small restaurant by its looks or ambience but patiently wait till you try the food and you won’t be disappointed at all.
Worth the drive for Momos and mutton korma!!!. This is the only restaurant that served Momos that taste exactly how we liked from the streets of Delhi… And only someone who’s tried Momos from Delhi will know what I mean!! Delicious, juicy and well spiced!! Their mutton korma is quite nice and the hot garlic naan compliments it perfectly… Try their mango lassi it’s an instant hit!! .. I don’t like the ambiance of the place.. It’s a bit dingy, small and shabby.. I’d say that the restaurant requires cleaning too.. But we’d rather take away the food than sit there!!!
Terrible. Worst customer service. Food was late. Like really late. So never forget to miss an order or it will come after 20 min. Never will come back to this place again.
Delicious and fresh food, worth your time and money. But the place lacks a bit in ambience .Had been here thrice and always loved it
