If you have not been here before, it not a restaurant, its a food court in front of a grocer store.Service is spotty at best but that’s expected. The seating area is bright and mostly clean. The viet subs are ok if you don’t want to drive downtown. The lady that makes them is very slow. The pho is ok but you cant ask for much more for $6.It cheap, the food is ok but not great.
Rude and ripped off. The last time I ordered Pho from this Supermarket on the Northend of Edmonton, the lady did not give me what was orignally suppose to come with my order. It appeared she ran out of the beef balls, or she was too lazy to go back and refill her container, but she didn’t bother substituting the beef balls with something else. It was obvious she knew the person in front of me because she filled his bowl to the rim, and only gave us a few slices of meat, and she was rude too. She may not have heard my order the first time, which she could have asked me to repeat it, but instead she yelled at me, and maybe that’s why I didn’t question her on the spot as to why the person in front go so much more than anyone else in line. Would not go back.
Had the Vietnamese sub. It was very good.
Awesome shopping experience in the city!. This is the spot to get good eats and shop for all the ingredients/foods you need, all right in one place! Love it here its the best shopping for anyone and the food is delicious especially for the price! I don’t go anywhere else because this has the best of everything!
I thought I was crazy when I wanted to write about this place… but I’m glad I’m not the only one!. Yeah this place is good and cheap isn’t it? $6 pho and $3 dim sum’s really hit the spot. Not to mention all that Chinese food that I haven’t tried yet… The whole super market is clean and you can go Costco style and clean out the place after you eat. It’s really cool. I call this the Asian Costco. It’s great 🙂
Good & Cheap Viet Food. I love thier pho dac biet, bun bo hue, and their tom yum soup is not bad at all. For the price that you pay, its a darn good deal and their really quick as well. Their vermicelli bowls and viet subs are pretty good as well. Overall, I can not complain about the viet food they serve here. The BBQ Pork here is also good. They only thing I did not like was their stir-fry noodles selection. It was bland and tasted horrible. I’ve had some pretty bad chow mein, shang hai noodles before but this was the worst Canadian version Ive ever tasted.
Not worth the savings. I tried the pho here, as it’s substantially cheaper than anywhere else in the area. The portions were small, and there wasn’t enough broth for the meat to cook properly. They also lack the usual condiments like satay and peppers. Do yourself a favour and spend a few extra bucks across the street at Pho Du.
