Stopped on the way to go skiing, had a gift card and thought we’d save some money eating there, we where very wrong, could have eaten meals at any restaurant in town for half the price, even with the money off..food was interesting…but was pretty terrible , took FOREVER too get food and the place was pretty much empty. Would never go back..price is high, place looks cool but food tastes awe full.
We stopped on the way to bc and we were not impressed. Very expensive, not very tasty food. The place was empty and they somehow took almost an hour to make our food. Thank god we had a gift card which made it reasonable but I would never go back.
Ordered a braised shortrib and it cam out 85 percent fat for $38.00.. I mentioned it to the waiter and he did nothing. I would not return I wasn’t impressed
We stopped in for lunch after a hike and the restaurant was surprisingly modern for the hotel it was in. It wasn’t too busy so the food came quickly. I had the pulled pork on the pretzel bun and it was delicious! It was so fresh and the bun was so soft. I recommend upgrading the fries to the truffle fries. franklyray.com
My wife and I ate here on Vacation visiting the Banff area. Food and service was truly excellent. For breakfast we had Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict which was delicious. For dinner we had pork ravioli that was phenomenal. Honestly we weren’t expecting too much from our hotel restaurant, we just wanted something to eat, but we ended up having a gourmet meal and a very nice date.
Chef Luke is exceptionally talented and delivers a food experience that sets Table Food and Drink apart from most hotel restaurants. I have eaten here a few times and there is lots to enjoy on the menu but the steak frites is the best I have had anywhere! The pork ravioli is a close second.
We ate there last night and the food and the service were both fantastic. I ordered the halibut and it was cooked to perfection and the salad was sprouts and beets- light and fresh- tasting. My hubbie had pork-filled ravioli and it too was a hit. The ravioli tasted freshly homemade and he raved about it the rest of the night. Price is on the higher sideBut it’s worth it!
