Quickly losing favor. Pizza is deep dish with lots of toppings, and, in reality, too much cheese and the wings are good, but they are quickly losing favor with us. Apparently a 400% markup on pop isn’t enough, so they can only provide store brand pop. My husband inquired about the size of the family platter, they recommended the ‘Power platter’ instead (even though they have a smaller version of the family platter), which is basically a couple of wings, chicken strips fries and TACO CHIPS, of all things, and completely overpriced, and not the mushrooms, dry ribs wedges, mozza sticks and wings that I thought I was getting. My kids like their ‘Zany Bread’ (basically garlic fingers), but they used to come with dip, and now they charge .50 for each dip. They say its because everyone wanted something different. I say its because they are cheap and have no concept of customer loyalty. Their donair sauce tastes a bit like mayonnaise. I used to like it for dipping my garlic fingers (before they started charging for it) but being from the East Coast, and knowing a little about donairs, it has kept me from even trying a donair from there. Basically, this is a busy place and if you assume they are making 50 bucks from everyone that walks through the door, they are probably doing all right, For us, the value is no longer there.
Decent. Ordered 2 meat pizzas, donair and cola. Pop only available in no-name brands. Pizzas came in nondescript white boxes. Pizza was good, not great. Pepperoni was super thick, if you’re into that. I’m not. Couldn’t eat the donair, made me feel a bit sick and the meat was gross and had a weird texture. Quite overpriced, especially since they can’t splurge on a bottle of Pepsi.
Pizza is great. Occasionally greasy. Donair bowl and pizza are both fantastic!
Really good pizza
