Saturday Lunch. We popped into Rednex for lunch around 11:45 on a Saturday. The bartender came over and was very nice. We were the only people in the place at this point. We ordered a Clubhouse and a Steak Sandwich. The TV’s were not turned on. The bartender was also the cook. The floors were filthy. While we were waiting for our lunch, a lady came in and sat at the bar. She had to wait a good 7 or 8 minutes to get a drink because the bartender was cooking. My clubhouse was ok. One slice of lunchmeat and all the normal stuff. The toast was cold. My husbands steak was small, thin and overcooked. We were never asked how our food was, as the bartender was cooking her own lunch in the kitchen. My husband went in the mens room, and immediately came back out. He said it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year. We went to the bar, to get the cooks attention so we could pay our bill. She tried overcharging us by almost $20. Think we will be going back? Definately not. I used to be a bartender, and we are generally great tippers. Not today!
