had THE BEST Eggs Benny this morning. Thank You! So nice to have a place down the street that you can count on for good ‘homemade’ food (not freezer to fryer) and a great burger.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The restaurant is so popular you are almost guaranteed to wait but I assure you the burger is worth the wait!

Excellent food, particularly for breakfast. Decor is western and pleasant but could use an upgrade. Unfortunately that’s the extent of the positives. The restaurant is way under-staffed , and the wait is painfully long. Don’t come near this place after 9:00 am on a weekend.

Came here for breakfast with some friends this morning. Their tea and coffee were good and the waitress was very friendly. Ordered our food, and while there were 7 of us and we anticipated a longer time for our food to arrive, I feel like an hour is a bit long to wait. Flat iron Benedict came out – asked for eggs to be poached medium and they came out hard. I like the idea of serving it over a croissant instead of English muffins, but you could hardly taste the croissant over all of the hollandaise sauce. You could hardly taste the steak either – though it did have a nice texture/consistency. It was an ok experience over all.

Well finally made the drive to the Chuckwagon for lunch. Decided to try the burger which was pretty good but the fries were thin cut, cold, greasy and let’s say less then crispy. Another thing everyone at our table noticed was that the food was quite salty especially the beef and barley soup. We were a little disappointed but to be fair the burger was good and everyone gets a second chance.

It’s been a few years since I have ate here, but it tasted the same as it did before. The House Burger was fantastic and I love that they will make anything you need for your kids!

Don’t tell anyone, but this is the best damn burger you’ll ever have in your life. All the food here is great, including the fresh baked pies which are delectable. The portions are generous and everything is always fresh and hot! Tasty dressing on the salad and breakfast is good too. It’s a busy popular place so get there early or go during the week. The weekend lineups can be long. Nice drive out of the city and it’s one of our favourite little hidden gems. Nice servers and they work hard.Oh and the gravy…..is it weird if I want to drink it?
