  Went here for the first time since the recent change in ownership.We’ve been going to this location for the past 4 or so years from the time it was known as Scopa.We started with some of their appetizers. They are the same as with the previous ownership. However, both the olive & artichoke dip and the meatballs were terribly over salted. We have ordered the meatballs for years and had the dip several times over the past year and never had this issue.Service was slow, food took a long time to arrive and our waitress was inattentive and abrupt. When we asked if our appies would be arriving shortly, we were told gruffly that there was a large party inside. When I went to the washroom, I saw an empty table of 8-10 people who had left and 2 tables of 4 inside. Outside was 1/3 full. There were only two waiters for the entire restaurant. In the past, there was more staff.The main courses arrived and the ravioli was fine, but the spaghetti (their version of carbonara) was terrible…all I could taste was salt. I asked my husband to try it and he was shocked at how salty it tasted. I called the waitress over and explained that it was over the top salty, and I could not eat it. At that point, I also mentioned that the apples were much saltier than in the past. She offered to get me something else, and she later removed one of my glasses of wine from my bill which I appreciated. However, I doubt that we will be back because of the slow service and over salted food. It is disappointing as this restaurant is a 15 minute walk from our house and we love their patio in the summer. We probably go here about a dozen or so times a year.
