I tried out their lunch buffet. The staff was very nice. It is not very busy so if you want to go to some place quiet for a change this could be it 🙂 I kind of like to try everything. So I tried Pakora, Goat Curry, Butter Chicken, and the Beef thingy (not sure what it was). I liked everything but wasn’t a big fan of the Goat Curry. I also tried the deserts rice pudding, mango pudding and some fruit. I liked the rice pudding and the fruit was fresh and tasty.
I love the food here. The butter chicken is really tender and flavorful. I normally eat inside and there’s always a table available as it’s always kind of dead. I’m not sure why it’s so quiet since the service and food is great. Tonight I ordered takeout for $17.95 and received a generous helping of butter chicken, large naan bread, saffron rice, potatoes, and veggies. It was ready in 10 minutes.
A great place for authentic Nepalese food. Great food and very nice staff. The decor and ambiance needs some updating but that is secondary to the amazing food they are serving. Much better and friendlier service than the Himalayan.
We went here spur of the moment and we were not disappointed! The buffet was not running due to a very slow day, but they made us a platter of traditional food and it was delicious. Definitely going back.
Visited this evening for the buffet, attentive service, good range of tasty Indian and Nepalese food. We will be letting our friends know about this restaurant, and will definitely be back to try the momo’s!
Had not realized that Delhi Darbar was gone, with Mount Everest now in its place. The menu is still very tasty! We tried the dishes we have most often – meat biryani (we were with a friend averse to lamb or we would have had that – miss the prawn/lamb/chicken delight that was the Darbar Biryani, though!), butter chicken (more tomato-y, less creamy, but I preferred it!) and the baingan bharta (which was more spicy than I’m used to, but still very fragrant), and butter naan (tasty!). The only Nepalese thing we tried were the vegetable Mo Mo – they were to die for! Going to try the buffet, since, lazily, it was what we usually ended up having. Only now on Wednesday nights might shake us out of our comfort zone and prompt us to try new things. Hope that the previous owners are doing well!
I came here for a lunch buffet with my dad and we were more than happy with everything. Very friendly hostess and a great selection for both vegetarian and meat eaters. I also enjoyed that they had more dessert selection than most other indian buffets. The Naan is delicious and the palak paneer and paneer masala is one of the better ones I’ve had. Over all.5he dishes are spicier but that’s favorable for me. Very clean and nice ambiance inside. It’s hard to.fibd this place even though it’s on a main road! You have to park in the back and walk around to the front bur well worth the added effort! Reasonable prices and great quality. I will return here.
