terrible food and terrible service! This is the absolute worst restaurant I have ever been to. Save your money and go somewhere else where they value the customer.
I knew from the name of this place it was going to be garbage, but it was mom’s birthday and she wanted to try it. We are Cantonese but mom knows a bit of Mandarin so she ordered from the mandarin server. We got the 6-course meal plus an additional dish of lamb skewers. Server entered the 10-course for us instead! When we pointed out her mistake she wouldn’t even change the order because she said it was already started. She came back and said she would charge only $158 for the 10 course so we agreed. But instead they served a few more smaller sized dishes until they thought they gave us $158 worth then brought dessert like it was done! Mom tried arguing with the mandarin-only server until we found out the other server can speak English and she got the manager out who can speak Cantonese! He still wouldn’t admit their mistake so we just ended paying with $0 tip. I wish I could give -10 stars!
****Valedine we’re sorry but we have to break up. Hoping to out the dinner after some nice lunches. They had the $78.00 meal that had a soup and 5 dishes. It was quite salty. The poorest dish was half fried chicken dish because it was very dry and salty. Either a lot of the meat was lifted or was a very anemic chicken. The best dish was tge add on dish of XO shrimp and veggies. Again very salty. We were also reprimanded for taking an extra chair from another table. Annoying since we were the only table among 5 empty tables. Unfortunately they have taken off their crab and lobster dish off the menu so dont bother. We tried the replacement lobster congee and lobster mein… it just wasnt as good. Plus we did not enjoy finding a flattened chicken head under the soy sauce dish. Blah ******* Interesting wierd place. We had the beef brisket soft noodles.. seafood chow mein and beef flat noodle. ($9).. The resturant is divided in 2 halves but are comfortable seating areas. A lot of hand painting decor. The wierd part was bunch of stuffies along the wine glasses. Service was self serve. Seat yourself.. get napkins. . No tea n missing utensils. We really liked the food and price. Service was non existent. If you are not in a rush and are just there for food then you will be fine.
Came here for dinner on a Thursday night and it wasn’t too busy, but steady and service was pretty fast. Food was pretty unique and can’t go wrong with the lobster/crab deal for $38. We also ordered the wasabi jellyfish which was very flavorful and the lamb bone soup was pretty tasty as well, eventho it came in a bucket. The lamb skewers were full of cumin flavor and the spicy ones had a good kick to them. We will definitely come back to try more on the menu.
Excellent lamb soup and skewers. Fried rice and lamb schanks are great too! Will definitely return for dinner. The only down side is the limited parking.
Fair food flavor. Minimally spicy even for the spicy szechuan dishes. Prices quite reasonable. And portion size good too. Service poor and waiters overworked. Decor is odd and the place is clean. The lamb bone soup at $1, and crab special at $5 per crab, were an extremely good deal. The soup was a bit thin but excellent for $1.The eggplant and veggies were much too sweet for me. The spicy chicken pot: The chicken was a bit dry and not spicy at all. The peppers were way too spicy to bite into. The crab was good but I’m not a big crab person so I’ll withhold specific comment.Taste is quite important to me which is why I will likely not return. Nevertheless, there may be future improvement in this new restaurant.
Delicious lamp dish!! Try it. Good atmosphere. Right now they have dishes on sale. Good bubble tea also. Go give it a try if you want to taste Northern Chinese dishes
