I’ve been here twice and now refer to this place as La Rip Off. My spinach turkey avocado wrap was nothing but spinach wrapped up in a whole grain wrap. Tucked in the corner was a thin slice of avocado and one lean slice of turkey. Paid $7.50 for that joke. Gourmet grill cheese; two small slices of cheese, the rest was huge chunks of apple and bread. And I mean small slices of cheese, barely enough to cover 1/4 of the bread. That joke cost me $6.95. Complete waste of money!
Turkey Apple Brie Wrap was awful! I can not imagine that anyone who would try that would think it was okay to sell. Now I am hungry and out $7 🙁 I have had the salad rolls in the past and they were good.
Cajun chicken panino. …is a winner. Delicious on excellent ciabatta. Good price too- one of these and a superb Nanaimo bar are a great lunch for around $10. Service is polite and very friendly.
Solid salad rolls. Best place for salad rolls – usually well rolled and decently priced ($4.25 for 2 or $5.25 for 3). The rolls are always fresh tasting. The grilled sandwiches are darn tasty – particularly the turkey with cranberries. La Prep offers two soups, one cream based and another ‘healthier’ option. If the line-up is too long at Bake Chef, this is my default. hittingthesauce.wordpress.com
