I went to Devaney’s tonight with 3 other friends and the service was terrible. We were originally planning on having a wing’s night every wednesday, but the server was not welcoming at all, we got the receipts before we even finished the order, and when we asked if drinks come with the wings, she said ‘you should have known’. The offer on the wings was terrible, I honestly don’t think they have a real ‘wings night’ for wednesdays. The wings also looked quiet old. Bad experience overall, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Was up in Edmonton near the University and tried this since it naturally appealed to my affinity for Irish Pubs. The beer was cold, the service friendly and the food unexpectedly good. We were thankful to see something besides burgers and chicken wings and went for butter chicken and pad thai. Worth a shot!
Sleeper pub find. Tonight, my husband and I went here subconsciously comparing Devaney’s, as the former Hudson’s ,along with the same mediocre quality food and service. We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered a salad and pizza; both very fresh and tasty. Prices are competitive, if not more affordable for the University student clientele. We had two servers; both very pleasant and attentive. We plan to return here. In fact, this is the BESt pub experience thus far here in Edmonton. Great job, Devaney family ,whoever and wherever you are

No Hope. I recently came into this establishment and was shocked. From the servers who have zero class and I find to have no knowledge on their own products, to over priced food that is similar to frozen food at Sobeys but triple the prices and can’t forget the overly touchy manger who walks around looking very unprofessional. Completely disappointed.
Meh, keep walking. Just frozen food heated up. Lots of parsley thrown on top.
Wish Hudsons was still there. What a horrible place. Environment was alright, service was adequate, but the food was horrible. Pre-cooked chicken wings that looked like they were out in the open for hours, and were probably the smallest sized ones I’ve ever seen, I never even knew chicken wings could be that small. For $6.50 per 10 wings on SPECIAL, AND having to get a drink for another at least $3.50, I would say that the wing offer is pretty horrible compared to anywhere else. I’d rather buy food from McDonalds or walk in the winter to the next nearest restaurant/bar than have to eat at this expensive disgusting restaurant/bar. Make the trip to Hudsons or wherever. Wouldn’t recommend it at all.
