This was my go-to in the food court for years but the portion sizes have been cut in half and the food quality sharply declined, hoping the other locations havent followed the same decline.
Cedars deil is great! Second only to Jerusalem shawarma. They start with a simple store bought pita, which they wrap around, Chicken & Beef that are both excellently herbed & seasoned accompanied by wonderfully fresh vegetables.The salty turnips, savoury of the onions, sour pickles and spicy peppers, all mixed with a sweet sauce, Yum! They also have a nice lemony light hummus with a slight garlic, nutty tahini flavours that all shine through in this luscious dip! Beef samosa are a bit small but more than make up for it in flavour. Very friendly staff.Second time ordering here can’t wait for the next!
I’ve been going here for years and I still love it. I usually get the cornerstone (chicken and falafel mixed shawarma) with garlic sauce, cabbage, and parsley. It never fails! The owners are super nice dudes. I used to go to the one on edmonton trail and the owner would always give me free dessert with my order which was nice. I know they’re branching out a lot so I hope the quality remains the same.
