Ordered for a lunch takeout and was very disappointed. The curry was so watery which was tough to enjoy, and the pad Thai did not have any taste. But the customer service was great though.
We made our choice to try this little take out place by the reviews we read and were not disappointed. I was hopping to find thai food in Calgary that tastes just like we were in Thailand. Amazing…I loved everything we ordered, I liked the fair portion sizes and reasonable prices it was all delicious and authentic.
Tasty food, Great value and Price!!!My boyfriend and I love this take out place, it’s a family run business. A girl at the front is so sweet. We ordered to pick up when I’m not in the mood for cooking. Tom Kha Kai soup and Spicy Spaghetti with basil are his favourite and Pad Thai & Red Curry are mine ….Good selection, quick and friendly service, and a really yummy meal! Highly recommended!
Not enough food for the price. First time ordering food from here….although the flavors were alright, but not too exciting, the portion size of the cashew chicken is rediculously small for $12. We won’t order from here again…too expensive for what you get.
Unhappy. I put any order in for lunch and received a call 25 min later telling me they had no basil so they were unable to make the meals I ordered .. They recommend a couple dishes to get instead . They had no flavor and I had to put my own sauces on it to give it flavor .. That was a waste of money .
Consistently Great!. I have ordered from Chiang Mai since they opened. Monday night or a Saturday night, the food is always good.The Satay chicken and coconut shrimp skewers are both excellent. My must have dish is the Panang Curry and second favourite is the Chicken with Cashews. Other dishes I’ve tried and loved include the Massaman Beef Curry and the Veggie Pad Thai.The family that runs the shop works every day and they care about the quality of the food they prepare. Fresh veggies, peppers, basil and no MSG…yum!
Exactly what I expected. I was excited to try this, as there aren’t many Thai places in the NW. I wasn’t disappointed, but I wasn’t super impressed as I thought my lunch order was fairly priced ($8). The only thing that would make it better is the spiciness.
