Roasted red pepper soup continues to be a hit for this local, farm based spot. BBQ pulled pork and apple slaw sandwich was tasty and generous on the meat. Good to see they are staying open year round. It’s nice to have this country spot so close to get away from the city. I appreciate being able to pick up their local veggies on the way home too.
This is my favourite place in Lethbridge for lunch. The soups and sandwiches are always incredible. Make sure to hit up the store after lunch. The vegetables are so fresh and delicious. We started buying most of our produce here after our two year old son started devouring vegetables he would never eat before.
Crazy Fresh. Went there few days ago with the Kitchen’s people for a tour, and lunch there and it was amazing, everything was soo fresh, I had the Guarden Salad and it was top notch! make sure to have some tomatoes!
Everything was delicious. Our order was a little wrong but it was so tasty and fresh that we didn’t care. Food came incredibly fast. Friendly service. Best tasting food in town.
So-so. The service was painfully slow, the pie was a ‘left-over’ is was hardened and dry, I would not have let that leave the kitchen. On the other hand, the veggies are great and go back for those, but now skip the food. A better veggie stall than restaurant.
Desserts. The pies are fabulous and so is the homemade bread. But I hated the hard unripe avocado on my sandwich. Frankly if you don’t have perfectly ripe avocados, don’t serve them. As well, the service may be friendly but it is agonizingly slow. I don’t think the servers have ever been to a restaurant before let alone know how to work in one. That said, I’d go back for the pie and the fresh vegetable stand any day. That Country Blooms is next door and makes for great floral eye candy is a bonus!
Do you Lethbridgites know what’s in your backyard?. Broxburn Farms not only has a nice indoor/outdoor cafe that overlooks the vegetable and fruit fields, but they also sell amazing vegetables, some of which are grown hydroponically. Did you know that many of Calgary’s best restaurants list Broxburn Farms in their menu write ups when describing certain vegetable? If you are fortunate enough to live in and around Lethbridge and you have not been to Broxburn Farms then shame on you, go now!
