We went into earls tired and exhausted after a long day of driving. We both ordered steaks, one with added mushrooms (which was an extra $4). We got the steaks which were a little but more pink than needed but it was phenominal. The $4 mushrooms, we got out money’s worth, it was practically a side! Our server Tracey was great! She was friendly, checked on us throughout the meal and offered suggestions when we were unsure of the meal. The service was much better than other places in lethbridge for sure!!
Not perfect but on the right track. Improving the vegetarian menu would be great. They already have many dishes that can be easily made vegetarian. The vegetarian sandwich was VERY Oily but they managed to repair it…. ice cream that my husband had was really good .
Too high priced. To high priced for the amount of portions you get.
Unsatisfying. The rack of ribs tasted like jerky. The mediterrean pasta was acceptable but very salty. The Jeera curry was very good, very tasty. The calamari was okay a bit soggy, my children’s kids meal was average. My daughter’s bowl of plain pasta was drenched in oil before she even added butter. The albino beer was the highlight. We just noticed the restaurant appears to be unorganized and sloppy. For example, once seated we waited quite awhile before they took our order, our waitress came and apologized about a mix up. We had no cutlery until the food arrived which is okay, I guess. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Another waitress spilled a glass of water at the next table. She didn’t get the patron wet but she never came back to clean the ice cubes or straw off the floor. This doesn’t ruin the meal by any means but suggest to the overall lack of care in running of the restaurant.
Pretty standard earls. Food was good and always fresh. The decor was right. It was strange how quite it was on 10 pm on a Saturday night. Just one other table and a few people at the bar. Alot of earls are rocking on a Sat night. The chowder, tenders, ceaser salad and chicken and brie sandwich where there usual spectacular fresh selfs.
I don’t expect a lot but am satisfied.. I don’t like franchise feeling places and I usually avoid patroning or rating them but Earls is worth the few minutes. I go there and the steak has always been cooked perfectly, the wine recommendations have always been bang on, the restaurant might be a chain driven machine but the food is really really good, the serving staff average and the atmosphere meh. I really love the steak there there……
First time visit…last time visit. I took my mother here for her birthday and it was our first visit to an Earls. To say the least we were not happy at all. I ordered a burger + fries, and the fries were completely soggy and dripping grease. The burger was just OK. I asked for no mustard on my burger, and someone must have forgot…My mother ordered a pasta linguini and it was so spicy she could barely even eat it, nothing was mentioned on the menu about being spicy. She mentioned that even if it was a spicy dish it was way overspiced. We each got water to drink and it was almost warmer than room temperature, not even remotely cold with no ice.Needless to say I won’t be returning. Price is way too high for what you get
