This place is amazing! My family and I have to go every time we visit Lethbridge! Their dynamite rolls are great and the Green tea ice cream is the best!
We came to Lethbridge to see our nephew and began our visit with a tour of the Japanese Gardens. After that we had to have Japanese food. The JG staff recommended Lighthouse. Good call. Our server, Chloe, was efficient and quick, as was the kitchen. We enjoyed our lunch specials and our nephew liked his chicken katsu. Everything was fresh and well prepared. I’d like to try more of their food next time we’re in town. It’s easy to recommend this place. Thanks Lighthouse Japanese Restaurant.
I had dinner here last night.This is a relatively small sushi restaurant, and appointed in typical sushi restaurant style. It is clear from the number of walk in/take out orders I saw that it does brisk business.The server was polite and professional- service overall was very good; no long waits and unobtrusive.The food was very good but not the best I’ve had. Some of the rolls were quite good; others a little less put together. Flavor was good. There was also a good selection of beer and sake.Price wise it was a little expensive- more of a big city price scale. Overall it’s okay but the value proposition misses a little for me.
I’ve had great experience, i’ve also had bad experience at the Lighthouse before. Being the only authentic Japanese restaurant in Lethbridge (none others are run by Japanese), they definitely serve up some really good sushi. However the service had always been a hit or miss. Depends on how busy they are i suppose.
Service was good. I didn’t get sushi because I’ve had a string of bad sushi and need a break. Had the gyoza, which were pan-fried to perfection, and the beef teriyaki over rice (super beef bowl, I think is what they call it), which was excellent. Better food than any of the Japanese joints I’ve visited in Calgary or Edmonton. Impressed.
Good sushi, excellent tempura. Parking is sometimes not the greatest, but it is downtown. Overall I enjoy this place and would recommend it to eat.
Best sushi in lethbridge. Cozy place. Decent service. Over all one of the best sushi places I’ve been to ever. I like the dining experience when going here.
