We went with a seven year-old. The server appeared somewhat grumpy, but warmed up. She is the only reason I didn't give Miro a 5. The buffalo mozzarel…

Great Restaurant. My favourites are the beet salad, creamed mussels, calimari in tomato sauce and any of the lamb and beef entrees. Great dessert selection with white chocolate creme brule’ and pavlova among the choices. Portions are modest but flavour is outstanding. Most courses come with a compatible flavouring sauce. I go here when I have lots of time to eat and savour the meal.
Birthday Bummer. Well here it goes we chose Miro’s for our mothers 70th birthday after reading all the great reviews…. Well I don’t know how they got so many positive reviews! First the service speed was fine, it was the lack of manners that blew us away my father hadn’t even order yet when the waiter ripped the menu from his hands and walked away, we actually had to stop him and remind him to take the order and let him read the menu. Then the food arrived… Chicken penne was bland I would give more details but I can’t it tasted like nothing. Also another guest had the beef tenderloin 3 pieces of sliced beef the size of your finger for $30.00 wrapped in a potato cake really also bland!?! So to sum it up we don’t recommend going there at all and the reviews from this year are more accurate! It’s a joke don’t go! To expensive for sub par food!
Blah!. This is the first time I’ve ever put my comments online! Having a sophisticated palate, I could not be more disappointed with a dinner out! In terms of taste, I would give a 1 out of 10 based on the fact that every thing we had, was cooked beyond the point of recognition. I had the cioppino which tasted like they took some Oldman river water, put some salt in it, and threw some sand in for texture and then remembered to to throw in the over cooked shellfish! My wife had the beef tenderloin wrapped in potato pancake; which remind me of stew from a can from the old days of university! The dessert was undercooked and disgusting! We will never go back even though the service was excellent! All I can say is blah! $127.00 dollars later and I would have been happier to have had fast food. At least you know what you are getting is garbage!!!
First time eating here. I eat out a lot with work as I travel lots. I will most defiantly be back here again. The chicken penne was fantastic
I live in Lethbridge and I’m a dineaholic. I’ve had the opportunity to eat restaurants all over the world. I eat out at least five times a week for business and personal purposes. Two of those times will be at Miro’s. The quality of food is the best of the best, comparable to what I have eaten in at restaurants in major cities. The selection of wines is wide ranging and impressive. The only issue is the service staff – there is high turnover and sometimes they rush you through your meal. Often they are understaffed and running from table to table. Despite this, it is amazing to have a world class restaurant like Miro’s in a small city like Lethbridge.
Wish we knew about this place earlier. Best meatballs ever made. quick service and wonderful environment
Any time my wife and I can get away from the kids for an evening this is where we go. Since she’s a red seal chef(no longer in the trade) it’s hard for us to enjoy a meal out. Miro’s cook to standards that continually meet or exceed our palate. There beer selection is always interesting. The wine list is filled with every style for any dish. Keep up the great work.
