What a treat in Lethbridge to eat fusion North Indian food! The atmosphere and ambiance here are lovely for a place like Lethbridge. We ordered a lentil ginger cake appetizer and the frito misto (like calamari but also with scallops and deep fried peppers). The flavors and presentation were impressive. The texture of the frito misto was dead on. We were blown away at how perfected the fusion of flavors were with sauces and the Indian yoghurt. Also, we have had Indian dosas at many restaurants before and these were among the best we have had. I ordered the butter chicken dosa and my husband got the masala one with spiced potatoes. Very light, even with the butter chicken on the inside. The serving looks massive but the crepe was very light and airy and cooked to a perfect texture. For those who don’t know, dosas are like an Indian crepe, very thin and light made with chickpea flour. It is then rolled sometimes with a sauce or food and supposedly eaten with the hands. I opted to still eat with a fork and knife. Sauces that came with the dosa were also complimentary. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a culinary fine dining experience.
