The food here is decent though kind of expensive. It is in the downtown area so if you are going during busy hours you may need to be prepared to walk if you want to find parking. The sandwiches are pretty tasty and the coffee is okay. They sell locally run business items like certain clothes and home items, which is cute but at the same time confusing cause its a cafe.

The first thing I noticed when I walked into Stoketown was the atmosphere. The warm aroma of coffee being prepared, a welcoming layout. You come in and you feel welcomed. A large buffalo head hangs on one side to add visual interest. Different options of group or individual seating at different heights available to choose from. The first counter by the drink and food menu was laid out with delicious looking Spudnuts. How could anyone resist? So many beverage choices. I’m not a coffee drinker but my husband ordered a triple Americano and it was served strong, as he likes it in a small volume cup. I decided to tap into my Asian side and try a Vietnamese coffee, which also had multiple options of how I wanted it prepared. No complaints about the drinks. They were both prepared well and to perfection and served quickly to the table where we sat. My husband and I also ordered breakfast sandwiches. Mine was the fried egg sandwich which had Scottish Bap bread enclosing a hot fried egg, delicious bacon and either slices endives or scallions. The siracha aioli was the hidden gem that sealed the deal. My mouth is watering just remembering the infusion of flavors. Almost wish there was a tad more aioli! A place like this is exactly what Lethbridge needs. A cafe that is not a chain that serves high quality baristas beverages. It also has a selection of high quality craft beer and alcohol while serving top notch sandwiches. Everything is made fresh with only quality smoked and speciality meats and ingredients, all at a reasonable price point. I will definitely be back to try their changing menu, especially the delicious lunch and dinner menus. I can’t wait!
