I hate to do this because I really do love the food and the grocery store is fantastic. It’s just the service, both the owners and the staff all seem like they don’t want you there. I went in last week, no one at the front counter to order from the lunch menu so I approached the some of the cooks who were working and they actually ran away from me and refused to talk to me. Many other times I have come in to order a vietnamese sub and waited 30mins plus while people come in, order, and get their subs before mine only then to be told that they no longer have the filling or bread that I ordered. Complained about this and basically told that was my fault for not ordering ahead, even though the 10 people who came in after me and ordered at the counter all got their food. So incredibly frustrating.If you want to go into this business good customer service is essential. If you as the owner can’t be bothered to treat people kindly and with dignity then hire someone who will. Quit treating customers like they are a massive inconvenience on your day. Anyways, rant over. Keep the food and find new staff and this could be one of the best places to eat in lethbridge.
