Went here with my hubby and some family about 2 weeks ago and all I can say was horrible. Waited 15 minutes for a waitress to come greet us and take our drink orders.only good thing was the Mosica dip that was very yummy. Other then that my hubbys food was burnt and burger was dry. My mothers pasta sauce was bland and thick. When we told our problems to the waitress she was rude and snooty the manager did however take it off our bill but by then it was just to far gone. Wont be back.

I had the prawn linguine tonight and it was a huge portion and very good! I always find this place to have a little bit of a snotty serving crew (besides the men). The server we had tonight, although we were a big group, acted as if we were stressing her out or something. Regardless, food and drinks were good, and quick.

Ive been pretty good at avoiding Bourbon Street, its always busy and honestly the food isnt anything special. My expectation for this visit was close to nothing. Why did we choose Moxies? Well, their pictures on instagram of the Korean Cauliflower was very captivating, and with that I learned the true meaning of looks can be deceiving. Quite dramatic Im sure, but you have no idea how excited I was for this dishKorean Fried Cauliflower ($9.75) 0/5 Assuming that the cauliflower was deep fried, it arrived to our table mushy as heck. The spicy gochujang was more sweet than anything else with no heat. The jalapeno lime dip had to place being served with this dish. We both took 2 bites out of this and ended up throwing out the rest. Terrible, uneditable, just plain nasty. Calamari ($13.75) 1/5 meh, Ive had better. Unnecessary amount of peppers in this dish, we liked the sweet chili sauce wasnt a fan of the sriracha aioli. Blackened Chicken Burger ($16.00) Basically the one and only highlight of this dining experience. The garlic mayo was perfect -though it might have only tasted great because it masked the horrid taste of the first dish. We upped our fry game and got sweet potato fries which were 5/5. (how sad..right?)Service was disorganized, there were a lot of people working there, but not a lot of waiting on tables. Hostess up at the front was the only person there to greet and seat patrons, which was not efficient. We had the main server who took our orders, he checked in on us once after that and then he was nowhere to be found. Not worth it, wont be returning. Dont recommend.

Time for a renovation! Generally a grimy place, everything looks dirty, old and outdated. Food was sub par, we went for breakfast, served old sad looking fruit, toast was dry had to ask for spreads as none were brought to the table, asked for over easy eggs got over medium/hard (no yolk) and finally my steak was tiny and tough. Lousy experience for a Moxies, I’m used to much much better from the location in my home city, I expect a level of consistency throughout the chain, this WEM location drops the ball.

WEM has a great selection of restaurants, but a few of them are serving more or less than the same food. Moxie’s is one of the better one in my opinion. For appetizer, I ordered yam fries. It wasn’t not bad, but I found it weird as it was served with ranch instead of spicy mayo as dipping sauce. The yam fries was just decent, which I wouldn’t order again in future. For Entree I ordered the Shrimp pasta which consists 5 prawns, a baby lobster tail, and a garlic toast. I switched the tomato sauce into Rose sauce and it is matching the pasta well. I found the baby lobster tail a bit too tiny and a bit on the salty side though. The dessert was just Amazingly delicious. I’ve tried their Trio and from that time I know that warm pudding was my favourite. The warm pudding is a warm moist and sweet cake, served with ice cream and topped with toasted almond flakes. This alone was enough for me to pick this restaurant over the others in WEM. Verdict:Food: 9/10 (The dessert alone was enough for the high score)Service: 7/10 (Food came out slow this time, despite it wasn’t very busy during the visit. The staff were polite and pretty attentive)Price: 7/10 (Price was not great, but not bad)Overall: 23/30 (The dessert was the main reason I went there, but everything else was pretty decent, except the yam fries)

Oh Moxie’s WEM. Why does all hell break loose every time I decide to dine here? Maybe it’s a sign that I shouldn’t dine here. I’ve had multiple issues in the past at this location i.e. a baby lobster tail that’s 98% shell, appetizers coming after the entree, servers who can’t cater to nutritional information needs and being billed the wrong food. Most of the time, these issues have been dealt with in a quick and apologetic manner but I shouldn’t have to question whether or not something will go wrong whenever I end up eating here. A few Fridays past, my friend and I dropped by for a quick bite. I ordered the sushi cones and the lettuce wrapped burger with a salad. Looks like everything is going right, right? Well, it did until they sent the sushi cones to the wrong table which meant my entree would come out before my appetizer did. That’s fine and dandy but when my sushi cones came out, they went to the wrong table again! It turns out that they have a messed up internal numbering system for the tables located outside on Bourbon Street that caused this problem. Meanwhile, the lettuce wrapped burger was pretty disappointing. You shouldn’t have to suffer for making health-conscious decisions. The shards of lettuce were simply too weak to hold the burger together while eating and consequently, that meant a mess in my hands. The salad was a salad. I don’t have much more to say. When they finally came, the sushi cones were not bad with the sesame chili ponzu. But I was more relieved about the fact that I could finally lay my hands on them. My server was very apologetic and I was comped for the sushi cone mistake. I’m not sure if it’s my luck or how the management operates but it’s clear that there needs to be work done at this location. In fact, my experiences have almost become a rolling joke between my friends. What will Moxie’s WEM screw up on next time I decide walk in?

They have a pretty good patio and their sangria is top notch!! Plus they have a great brunch menu and everyone loves a good brunch. I had great service every time I visit this location. I never have a hard time getting a table here but that may be because I come at non peak times?
