The customer experience at the comic strip is severely lacking. We booked tickets as a group but we were paying separate bills – so a group of two here a group of one there etc but all at one table. They sat us front stage. Its a comedy club weve all been to them so we get that there will be back and forth with the comics – thats fun – its part of why you go to a comedy clubWell back and forth banter that was fun was perceived by one of the ushers as us yelling at the comic , so he came over to warn us we had no idea what he was talking about comic change and the next comic comes up and again bow tie boy comes over and wants us again to stop yelling at the comic. There are multiple tables interacting with the comics and they keep coming to ours ! The first two comics were mediocre at best – I could have easily walked out – headliner was ok but not hilarious. We enjoyed a couple drinks, the wait staff was slow and on autopilot so when I switched my drink she brought me out the wrong one at first – whatever – until they bring a bill charging me an automatic 20% gratuity – which is absolutely ridiculous – gratuity is my choice to pay if the experience is worth it – she was by no means worth 20% We asked for a manager some slob comes out and doesnt even listen to what happened he wont soesk to any of the women ( of 11 only three were men) and he continues to call us liars and tell us that we were doing things we did not do.They gave us a generic email to send a messsge to but as a previous patron said they just dont answer that. The pls d was almost empty on a Saturday night and I can tell you why !!Go to any other comedy club anywhere but dont waste your time here. They dont care. Their drinks are over priced and their service and management were awful.

Everyone loves a laugh and the comic strip can deliver the punch line. Cool spot for a date but your going to want to order a couple bevy’s at a time as it can be slow on the drinks. Minor detail as your paying attention to the show.

The Comic Strip. I really enjoyed the entertainment, but the food was terrible. I got a chicken ceasar salad, which you think the kitchen could make but it was soggy lettuce the chicken was cold. I didn’t dare send it back since it took about an hour to get it and I was starving! I’d come back for the entertainment, but I’d eat elsewhere beforehand. You sit extremely close together. We had 6 people and we had to try and fit onto these small circular tables.. it was a bit ridiculous. And you were always getting bumped into cause people could barely get by you. The opening act guy was okay but he was a little cruel, and I didn’t like that he sat there talking about his drug experiences… I want to hear a joke not your life problems. They also don’t take debit cards and fail to tell you that beforehand.

This venue has terrible management and owner. First of all, although I booked a party two weeks ahead, no one at the venue saved any spots for my group and had no idea about my booking. Then, my group made a couple comments to the speakers and the management threatened to kick us out. I decided to talk to the manager and he was terribly rude and disrespectful. He did not care about anything me or my friends had to say. He was a pure negative jerk. Then, the owner called me and my cousin a slut over the microphone in front of the entire crowd. This is unacceptable. Please choose another venue to go to if you want to be respected during your stay. This place needs new management and a new owner

So. I have never in my life been so insulted as I was at the comic strip. My friend had her birthday there, and THE OWNER CALLED HER A SLUT. IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. She had done Nothing to deserve it. Is this your brand of customer service Comic Strip??? Abusing paying customers? That’s really disappointing. Never again.

Nothing crazy. The comedians are funny and thats pretty much it. Food is over priced and not that great. Takes for ever to get anything there. Drinks like every 20 min and food takes a while. Doesn’t even come out at the same time. Eat before you go and then if your hungry after theres a few places around there that are better.
