Everyone come check this place out at least once! We had three dishes there after a night of drinking and it was the best hangover for ever. Pub style eats without the meats. The BLT has the most amazing tomato jam. TOMATO JAM?! Yes. It is delicious. The chicken and waffles were jivey and Friedas Frittata was a taste of good karma. The staff were very nice and actually gave a gosh-darn enough to chat you up. Friendly environment. Seriously GO HERE. Bring friends. It’s fun! Cool decor too. 10/10 will go again with more people. Just moved near by to this bar. Went in for a drink not at all what I was expecting but in a good way. I love that all the beer is from Alberta and everything on tap is brewed in Edmonton. I tried the Moonshine drink it was on special and it was to die for delicious! Tasted like an apple pie. Tried their salsa and tortilla chips all made in house, pretty decent. Service was pretty good as well.
Absolutely adore this place, amazing food, friendly staff and an excellent atmosphere. More people need to know about this little gem!
Disappointing. I love new vegan places, and I really wanted to like this place but it just didn’t measure up. We were there on a Saturday night and there was no one else besides us there, so it was kind of awkward. We got the chicken and waffles and the ribs. The seitan ribs were good, but really dense to just give you 4 slabs of seitan with nothing else, would have loved some vegan coleslaw or veggies on the side. The chicken and waffles were such a rip off. It says on the menu that they are seitan, they are definitely the Presidents Choice soy chicken nuggets from Superstore. Such a disappointment. Maybe I’ll head back when they get their act together and stop serving food from Superstore.
I want to like it… I really do but the only positive thing I can say is that they at least have beer.
90%liked???? You’ve got to be kidding me.. Other than the lemonade which was good, this place doesn’t even know what a panini is! Tuna melt had about a teaspoon of tuna and the cheese wasn’t even melted.. My friend had the ham artichoke panini with no artichoke and again no melt.. On top of that, the salad was comprised of about 7 leafs.. And it all took over 20 minutes to arrive.. Worst sandwich I’ve had since I was a kid and my friends mom served boiled chicken on dry toast .. Go there for a coffee or lemonade and then move on to eat!
Awesome. Certainly a very awesome place to chill at with your buddies. The manager is a very nice guy and the food there is quite good! I have to say that I was really surprised by the quality of the food and the exotic beers that they offered.
