Chicken Samosa, Chicken Lababdar, Naan, Butter ChickenNosh is recommended by some friends from St. Albert, so we had low expectations coming here. Chicken Samosa was surprisingly delicious. Had a lot of meat up in there but my only concern was that the outside wasnt that crispy. It barely survived a couple rounds of sauce I put on it. Still tasty though. Chicken Lababdar is boneless chicken cooked in thick lababdar gravy. Lababdar gravy is achieved by mixing nuts, cream, white sesame seeds and poppy seeds. This soft creamy gravy had a good spice to it and was easily best dish of the meal. Naan, was doughy and soft which I prefer. Butter Chicken was grilled chicken in an ambrosial tomato and cream sauce which tasted mediocre. Chicken was alright but the sauce failed to deliver. Maybe ive been spoiled growing up in Millwoods, but this wasnt the greatest butter chicken ive had.Located on 124st and 102ave, Nosh is a decent sized cafe and small patio. Decent food, fast service, quick water service, and modern interior Nosh is worth a try. However it is in direct competition with Remedy which I find is the better choice if youre in the area.Sal says: Just Try ItErik says: Well I didn’t like the butter Chicken, tasted off to me. Samosas were okay, but in Edmonton there are MUCH better ones, cheaper to. My dish [Lababdar] was decent enough.#yeg #yegfood #food #foodie #foodporn #foodgasm #foodpics #foodstagram #instafood #delicious #hungry #yummy #dinner #lunch #indian

We came to Nosh Cafe for an early dinner. The Groupon was about to expire We shared butter chicken and coconut fish, each dish came with rice. The naan was extra. The atmosphere was nothing special but the food was very good. I’d come back again and try something different.
