cute little italian joint on 124th. gave this place a try on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. the food was average, I found my salmon a touch dry but the pasta was good. portions sizes are perfect, not too large and not too small. We started with the arancini. the risotto could have been creamier, plating was a bit sloppy, but overall I enjoyed these. tira misu for dessert was good as well.Service is where this restaurant shines for me. the waitress was incredibly kind and very prompt. honestly the best service I have in a long time in Edmonton.Ambiance – open kitchen was kind of neat, restaurant felt cozy but nothing too special to write about.
This place is amazing! Quality food and service. Ive dined here a few times and have always been happy with my meal. Waitresses have always been friendly each time.
Stopped in for lunch only because Katouki was closed and Im glad it worked out! Nuovo was a pleasant surprise with simple food, very good portions, great taste, great service. I would come back to try some more great Italian again for sure!
Nuovo is amazing! Weve order 3 times via Skip the Dishes. Their tomato sauce is full flavored and simply delicious. Risotto balls are crispy and have a perfect amount of delicious cheese inside paired with the mushroom sauce you wont be disappointed. The braised short rib pasta is very good, the cannelloni yummy and the spaghetti and meatballs just perfect. The reviews dont do this place justice. Try it. Youll love it!
Both service and food were excellent! Ordered the calamari, Caesar salad and the penne !! The penne is probably one of the best from the menu! Must give it a try !
Another good restaurant on skipthedishes. The trend here is to not over season things. The flavours are great and the wine selection fitting the meals. What I like is how healthy I feel after eating their meals, not a guarantee with other Italian restaurants.
Very good, came with my wife and had the arancini balls, the cozze (muscles in gorgonzola sauce), and the tagliatelle pasta dish with chicken. Very good food. It wasn’t busy, family reccomended it, purchased a Groupon when it came out and was not disappointed. Surprised this place isn’t busier. Overall: very satisfied and happy with the experience.
