Stopped in at this small bistro for appys tonight. Friendly staff great us immediately and let us choose a table before explaining the specials of the day, asks if we have any questions before saying she will be right back with water and would you like lemon? Great start. We order calamari and arancini to share. Kitchen is open to the restaurant and appears clean and organized. Our appys come out quickly and nicely presented. Calamari is cooked perfectly without any added deep fried pepper surprises ( thank you). Arancini are tender, oozing with cheese and full of flavor. Really enjoyed our visit! Thank you
I would have to say everything I tried here I liked. I’ve been about three times now and tried about six different dishes. The arancini (deep fried risotto balls) were absolutely delicious and my favorite entree was the tagliatelle Florentine. They also had a great selection of wines. Unfortunately we were not able to try any desserts but it is definitely a nice place to go for pasta when you are looking to try something different from other Italian restaurants in the city. I did dock a mark for service because the server seemed to be the only one working and not very experienced. She did not write our orders down and constantly kept forgetting what we ordered, this happened all three times we went otherwise i would not think twice of it but it was slightly irritating.
