Wow. The pretzels are awesome we tried the regular salted with butter and the garlic and butter. Soooooo good. Have been there before and had their mczwick sandwich and it was very good and their flavoured sofas are incredible. I highly recommend this place, but not a comfortable place to sit and eat. I recommend to get your order to go
Spicy Scallion and Mozza Pretzel, Chorizo Sausage, McZwick, Beef on a Weck, Bacon & EggThis is the first place that ive gone too 3 times in one week. Zwicks is the bees knees. Pretzels is Zwicks main sell. The pretzel was covered in cheese and was pretty good. However, Its the sandwiches and sausages that makes this place one of the best sandwich shops in Edmonton. Chorizo sausage is topped with chimichurri & pickled red onion. This is the best sausage in bun ive ever had. Chimichurri is so bomb. Mczwick is warm roasted chicken, candied bacon, mozzarella & paprika aioli. This one is the healthier option and has really good sweet flavor from the bacon, and it goes well with that aioli. Beef on a weck has warm sliced beef, mozzarella & horseradish onion mince on a caraway & salt-topped. This thing was dripping in flavor. The beef is mad juicy. Direct flight to FLAVORTOWN. Bacon & Egg is house-cured back bacon, egg & grilled tomato. This is probably the best breakfast sandwich youve never had yet. Usually grab one before heading to Duchess for eclairs. #FitFam. Surprisingly all the protein used at zwicks is top tier and much like the best shawarma places, they make their own bread.Located in a small spot on 124st and 107ave, this place is too good. Go and be amazed.Sal says: Just Eat It (4.5/5)Erik says: Simple and Delicious#yegeats #yeg #food #foodie #foodporn #foodgasm #foodpics #foodstagram #instafood #delicious #hungry #yummy #dinner #lunch #pretzel #yegdt
10/10. Past by it a number of times, and often saw lines out the door. Tried the chorizo sandwich (amazing) and a number of regular items. Go early, get it to go. Going back again next weekend. It’s a new regular place for me and mine.
Pretzel isn’t really my thing but this place took something I didn’t like to the next level by adding scallions, cheese, hot sauce, and all kinds of goodies to it. I now like gourmet pretzels. I still wouldn’t eat wetzel’s pretzels but zwicks? Anytime! The shop is quite small (almost like a bakery) and there is a few high chair seats for you to enjoy your pretzels fresh. Me? I went there right at closing time but the staff was nice enough to serve me. My friends and I ate outside the store in the cold but we were happily doing so because the hot pretzels were keeping us warm. I was actually quite full that day but I found out that there’s always room for Zwick’s Pretzels 🙂
Omg yum! Between the three of us we got the mczwick, feta one, and scallion and mozzarella one. We got a dill dip and the garlic aioli as well and the raspberry bergmont soda, cucumber mint, and ginger berry. The mczwick was on a pretzel bun and has bacon and chicken and a yummy sweet sauce. It was bursting with flavour. The other two pretzels were just pretzels with toppings and were soft and chewy and delicious. The dips were amazing. We licked the remainder up from the container- that’s how good they were. The sodas were homemade and super refreshing at all. I will be going back for sure and probably soon. Oh- and it was also super cheap! $3 for a pretzel?! You can’t go wrong.
Awesome pretzels. There are many different flavours, from the basic butter and salt variety, to spicy scallion and mozzarella. Prices per pretzel range from $2 to $2.50 each but once you try them, you’ll want to get a dozen (which is slightly cheaper). They have sandwichzels, sides and soups as well, but we didn’t try them. We did get coffee with pretzel’s which was really good coffee. The location is a little sketchy and there is not a ton of room to sit if you are looking to eat in. Service was friendly and fairly quick. This is definitely a must try place in Edmonton. You will never want to go buy Wetzel’s overpriced pretzels again. chrissymeetsworld.com
It was pretzel day on April 26, 2017 so I decided to head down there to grab some pretzels. Picked up a salt & butter, savoury garlic and a spicy scallion mozza. They were so soft and fresh and so good. The store is very small with a table that would probably seat only 6 if you decide to stay and eat. Most would just order and have it to go; just like I did. Staff was nice and friendly. Overall a good little joint for some good fresh baked pretzels. Definitely would be back if I am in the area or want a good pretzels.
