We stopped over in Calgary on our way from Banff. There was no server and the restaurant was completely empty during lunch hour. The chef was a good guy. He was polite and was multitasking- he was in the kitchen plus he had to be out to take our order. We ordered the BBQ platter and we were disappointed by the portion, which was not proportionate to the cost of the same. The curries were decent and the naans were excellent, though. It wasn’t the most exceptional Pakistani meal I’ve eaten. I don’t think I’ll be going there a second time.
Hit and miss. We ate at Qila a few months ago and the food was amazing. We had the BBQ platter with naan and some chicken biryani. I really enjoyed the beef kebab with naan. My rating of 2.5/5 is based on my recent dine in experience a few weeks ago. The restaurant was completely empty when we sat down around 6pm on a Wednesday. Server took our order and brought out the food within about 10-15 minutes. We had a couple of BBQ platters and and some curries with naan. Everything was too salty. We ended up dousing everything with raita and chutney. Consistency is important, so I’m not sure if I’ll be back. Big ups to our server…he kept up with our refills and was polite
