I have brought multiple people here for their buffet during lunch, they are happy with the variety and the fresh nan bread. Plus a good place to hang out for the evening!
My husband and I went to XS for dinner on a Saturday night and it was really just okay. Somehow his diet coke turned into a rum and coke – which was quickly corrected once we managed to track down a staff member. My lychee martini was good, if a bit sweet. The appetizer we ordered – the Bombay platter – was yummy and generously portioned. Both of our entrees were good and beautifully presented, though eating them next to our dirty appetizer plates was a little off. The chocolate cake I ordered for dessert was somehow both dry and too rich – and with nothing but a small dollop of canned whipped cream to cut the richness, was too much to finish. The biggest disappointment was the lack of service. Our waitress was quite friendly when she was with us, but it took us 2.5 hours to have a meal, including multiple forgotten requests (glass of water, pop refill, packaging of leftover appetizer). All of the forgotten bits were rectified in the end, but it made for a rather disappointing visit.
Came here for lunch one day with coworkers to have their Indian buffet. Although looked and smelled decent, many of the dishes lacked the authentic favor or were too salty. The only good part I found was their nann bread which was fresh as it was made on order, and their desserts.
An odd spot. We stopped in to try the Indian Lunch Buffet. Front door was locked so we entered through the hotel lobby. The there was a nice selection of dishes, food was fairly mild but flavourful. Naan was made to order, but sadly no mango lassie available to compliment the food.Place was almost dead at a Friday lunch. More construction guys working making dust and noise than dinners.Service was very good, staff were very friendly and personable.
Had the butter chicken and it was delicious. Service was a little slow but very friendly, and would definitely go back again!
Jam Hospitality changed the name – still owe contractors. The owners of Ric’s Grill (Jam Hospitality) changed the name of the restaurant. They still owe contractors money.
Sooo good!. What an amazing dinner! We bought a coupon off Travelzoo and will absolutely return. The menu looked delicious and the food completely met and exceeded the descriptions. Each course was a nice size and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!
