The daily Indian buffet here is one of the best in Calgary. XS Lounge is located in the Radisson by the airport, it’s not somewhere you’d think to go for Indian but it truly is worth trying out. It is $17.95 and runs from 11:30-2:30 and they have a large selection on the buffet to choose from – we went on a Sunday and it ranges from having shots of mango lassi, to salads, fish pakoras, to butter chicken and even curry goat. Dessert included gulab jamuns and fruit and a few other Indian sweets. I believe it also includes pop/juice/tea but that’s something to check. The service is also amazing.
Had a decent 3 course meal at this hotel lounge/grill! Groupon brought me here where I enjoyed two salads two entree steak dinners and a white chocolate brownie for a pretty good price! The salads def tasted fresh and were bursting with flavour, not much to complain about. I tried the rib eye steak which was cooked to my liking and tasted actually pretty good, little too fatty for my liking but once again pretty solid meal. Dessert was a little boring and flat with the brownie but after all the food we just had dessert was merely an extra. This place really wasn’t busy on a weekday so service was very prompt and we were well taken care of. In total the meal came under 65$ not including tip with groupon which I think is an excellent value , check it out!
