Went for early dinner on a super snowy sunday. The interior is beautiful with cozy booths that u sit in with ur shoes off and they have seating by the sushi chefs where they also have the sushi boats going by. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. We ordered warm sake ($5.95 for 5 oz) green tea ($1.50) spicy salmon roll ($6) masago roll ($6) spicy calamari roll ($9.50) fire cracker roll ($9.50). Salmon and ebi nigiri ($2.75 each) and for dessert mango cheesecake ($8). Everything was fresh and delicious its probably the best sushi i have had in calgary ( havent tried shibuya yet). The mango cheesecake was smooth and not overly sweet which was perfect. Everything came to $53plus tip. This is very close to our house so will def come bak even though it is on the pricier side
Best sushi in the neighbourhood. Lunch deals are perfect. Sushi/sashimi list is on the high side but the pieces are very large so the value is there. If your visiting one of the new weed stores and are craving Japanese, these guys are right there.
Best udon ever! I always get the beef udon. Service varies and depends on which server you get, but the host is always good. The atmosphere is nice too.
Very nice sushi place. Very comforting and cosy decor which includes Japanese style seating and small indoor ponds. Largely stuck to the sushi and it says very good. The salmon and tuna sashimi were excellent as was the rainbow roll with salmon, shrimp and avocado. The only other dish we had the chicken yakisoba (egg noodles), was just ok. Overall definitely worth a go for sushi lovers.
We’ve been eating here for years and it has remained consistently fantastic. The interior is clean and lovely, and we have never had a bad service experience in our many visits. The sushi is always wonderful and tasty; we tend to order a selection of sushi, sashimi and rolls (maki) depending on what we’re craving, as well as gyoza (dumplings) which are amazing here. The only negative thing I could say is that on really busy days some of the rolls have looked a bit sloppy and unevenly cut, but they still tasted good! Will continue to visit regularly.
Used to come here all the time with old friends. The sushi is very affordable here, the decor is nice on the inside and the staff have always been friendly. Their red tuna sushi is good and cheap and their rolls are well sized and well priced.
If you’re looking for a great experience in Japanese cuisine look no further. The amazing staff will look after your every detail. Amazing sushi. Thank you.
