Yuck!!!. From out of town and was recommended to try this little spot out. Was expecting something pretty good and got a burned burger and over cooked onion rings . Took forever to get our drinks because he got a few orders from some young guys and was distracted. Paid a little extra for the mushroom burger and got about 10 small fried up mushrooms. Comfy chairs at least .

Good Hang-out Spot. There’s something to be said about the atmosphere of Duke’s. This is a place you can come with friends and enjoy a nice conversation or several pitchers of beer.I have always enjoyed the food but it has never been my favourite. The poutine is quite nice and I also enjoy the onion rings. The food is mostly bar grub fair so that should be your expectation going in.The staff are also quite generous. One time I had ordered a drink they were out of so they gave me a double of my second order for free. I have always enjoyed my experience here although the food isn’t really special.
Awesome 50’s style hangout that’s been open for over 20 years. Food is the best around the U of A. Donairs and Pizza are the best in town. Family run and very friendly staff.
I definitly did not enjoy the food here, got the super donair which i could tell was not freshly made. The vegetables soggy and not very fresh.
Had a donair at dukes’s today with the husband. Ordered 2 super donairs and we were still hungry after. Also ordered 2 drinks as well. We thought the taste was not bad but disappointed with the size.
The taste was very good however the size of the donair was a little disappointing, usually a donair is a safe bet to stuff you. Too small.
