Stopped by for lunch, had not been here for a few years, used to work in the neighbourhood, but not any longer. Was not disappointed, reasonably priced, freshly prepared, great food at a fantastic value. Stop in you will not be disappointed.
I find the people complaining about lack of selection or cash-only pretty laughable. Now in his 44th year in business, Keith has it figured out. This place is old school. Soup Nazi-style no-nonsense ordering. The sandwiches are made to order but they don’t take instructions well. I found the food tasty but the room and the experience were my jam. Letter board menu on the wall. A few signs indicating the rules of the place. A deli like this can only be built on decades of hard work. Looking forward to visiting again.
I tried going here today but sadly they only accept cash. So alas I was forced to go to red lobster. Maybe next time I will get some cash and head here.
Boyfriend loves this place so took me for lunch one day. Inside is cool with all of the retro action figures. Ordered the turkey but nixed the cranberry sauce. Was good, very garlicy, a bit too much for me. Staff are friendly.
Great sandwiches. Light but filling, price isn’t bad either. I work nearby and this would probably be a daily lunch spot if it weren’t for cash only. It’s 2016! I hate carrying around cash. Considering most businesses have technology to let you pay with your phone and this place is still in the stone age. They make you take out cash from an third party ATM which charges you bank fees. I think I’m gonna have to pass unless the odd time I have cash on me.
Service is fast, sandwich was good. Ordered the turkey with cranberry sauce. The insides were tasty, but definitely not a fan of the bread they used.
This was listed as a deli and I dropped in later in the afternoon to see what they had to offer. I was a disappointed that they had very little available, but they did have their special sausage on a roll so I had that topped with sauerkraut. It was very good. But overall I was still disappointed with the selection and the unhelpful attitude of the server. I doubt that I will go back.
