I’ve been to various dream tea locations, but during this visit I only came to try their shaved ice. It was ok. I got the special, which had a lot of stuff. I was grateful they added a lot of syrup because just eating ice isn’t that great. But all in all, the first few bites weren’t bad and then it just wasn’t as good after those bites. Even after mixing. But it looked pretty.
I don’t often get bubble tea due to the price but was reminded today of why I choose Dream Tea House if I want a treat. The inventive flavor combinations and soft and chewy tapioca pearls puts this place above others. I had one of the specials for the day, the passionfruit bubble tea which provided a refreshing taste in combination with the lychee jelly. The tapioca pearls were the perfect consistency making this a nice treat.
Not your average bubble tea. Bubble tea where were you for most of my life? I was happy with powdered mango milk bubble teas and then Dream Tea house knocked it out of the park. I’ve been to all three locations and never been disappointed. My favourite is the one by whyte ave but the heritage one is walking distance. My favourite bubble tea is 1437 (passion fruit and strawberry – with real fruit and tapioca and lychee jelly) it is heaven in a cup. Now that they have snacks available too I may stay instead of taking it to go. The shaved ice is on my list of things to try but just haven’t gotten around to it yet as the 1437 always calls my name.

Surprisingly delicious fries and wings! The bubble tea is alright – nothing special but I do like everything else enought to come back.
Not worth it for the price. There is not enough fruit in their drinks. I purchased a papaya bubble tea, the sago was too soft and the overall drink had no flavor.
