Didn’t live up to the hype. The restaurant was packed (which means business is booming) but noisy as heck. It’s also not clean and stuffy.Wifey and I got a table way back towards the kitchen. Got a few glimpses of the inside kitchen, I loss my appetite. Thank you very much, never again.
Food was delicious. They got my takeout order wrong but the delivered the correct item when I called them and told them about it. It was too bad since some of the food was late but I appreciated the delivery. I ordered the honey black pepper shrimp was so delicious (a must have!) and the vegetable chow mean which was decent.
Great. Things were great but the waitresses seemed as if they were in a rush to get the order in. The food was delicious. It came out in approximately 15-20 minutes, so it wasn’t too bad of a wait. The tofu and fish dish was my favorite. The flavor of the ginger beef was great but the texture was a bit on the rough chewy side. Other than that it was a great visit. The place was busy on a Saturday night, and I could see why. Overall a good experience. I will return when I move to Edmonton.
Go-to restaurant for Chinese food. Tasty, great deal with the extra noodles/rice thrown in, and fresh. The peaches and cream shrimp, and gai-lan dishes are a favourite, although all the dishes are prepared well.
Top shelf for authentic Chinese food! Fresh no non-sense service, staff have been there for years and recognize regular patrons. Seems like they do a ton of take-out, though I always go for dine-in. Portions are excellent and recommend reservations.
Waitress was impatient and rude. We werent ready to order yet she kept asking us to hurry; it wasnt even busy. Definitely won’t come back.
**so guess we are buddies again..we had a really nice waitress and the dishes recommended were really good…. The resturant was pumping and we had the whole 9 yard.. complimentary soup.. dinner for 3 and low yui.. fish…*** 2 person was pretty good.. with soup.. 2 entres. . Our choice pork eggplant hot pot and brisket chinese carrot hot pot…. finally red bean doup dessert. Includes rice*****normally I would say we have good meals except last 4 times it has steadily declined to the point where it’s the */#@$##//last time. Where to begin??? The black pepper shrimp battered in indistinguishable batter had a cup of sugar. Same with the orange sweet and sour pork. Beef brisket chow mein super salty and cold fish n tofu hot pot. Dry garlic fried chicken. The starting soyp had a lot of msg. The cha sui and chicken platter looked old. and a waitress with an attitude problem. My stomach hurts. I has to use their dilapidated bathrooms and that was just as dismal.
