Good Taste is by far the best Chinese food that Edmonton has to offer. Everything is so fresh that it melts in your mouth. No need to try anything else but Good Taste. It is a hidden gem.
Best balance for portion, taste and value of northern chinese food in south edmonton. Small place so dont expect a comfy seating. Get plenty of water because its gonna be spicy.
We ordered the sauteed chicken with rice. The service was bad. The food was not bad, but a little pricy. We does not like it and will not go back.
Don’t waste your time and money. While the food, when we received it was good, the service was awful. We received our rice dish before our soup. We had to ask for the soup we ordered. Then as we ate our soup the rice sat at the table getting cold. It was then another 20 mins before our chicken dish arrived. Now our rice is stone cold. No one ever checked on us, it was like we were invisible or not the right nationality. People who were seated after us received their food before us and in a timely and orderly fashion. We have eaten here for years since it opened, it appears to be under new management and with a new direction and focus. I will DEFINATELY NOT be eating here again and will not encourage others to do so.
Tasty new menu. This place has created a new menu of very tasty and authentic Sichuan style Chinese food. It’s very small, 6 tables inside and most likely you’ll have to wait a bit but the food is worth it! A good alternative to Taste of Asia restaurant if you like noodles and spicy appetizers. Do not order off of the takeout menu unless of course you want regular Canadian Chinese food (literally what the owner told me).
Gross & completely inedible. Greasy and just gross… We got take out, ate a tiny bit and threw the rest out. The chow mien was especially inedible.
I just ordered $45.00 worth of slope and it was disgusting. My shrimp were mushy almost like they went bad… they are very jewish with their meat man. I have 6 little pieces in my black bean sauce beef… what a waste.. pure veggies and no meat in a meat dish…. gaste was poor.. Never again will I order that garbage… it all went clockwise down the pipes….
