  Absolutely delicious. And David was a delight to work with. He sent me a sample menu and off we went!For a party of 10 we ordered:3 lb smoked brisket, 3 lb pulled pork, 2 large Jambalaya with rice, warm potato salad, collard greens, pecan sweet potato casserole, onion buns and a peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Included are special sauce, onions and pickles.Everything was superb. We’re still talking about it. The brisket was the best anyone has ever had.The home made sauces were delicious and added another depth of flavor to the brisket, pulled pork and collard greens.I am sure the ice cream is home made. One taste made us swoon.Generous portions that were enough for leftovers. They were even better that next day.You can’t go wrong and the price is reasonable.Thanks David!

  Got the brisket – devoured the entire thing and left not even a crumb behind because it was so good. Next time I’ll give the ribs a shot. Try this place for sure

  Soul Kitchen BBQ Outstanding Wedding Catering.Soul Kitchen BBQ catered our wedding of approximately 100people in December 2015 and did an amazing job. The food is such an importantpart of a wedding and Dave and Jon at Soul Kitchen BBQ absolutely nailed it.They made the whole process extremely easy and took a ton of pressure off of usduring an already very busy time.First and foremost, the food was excellent and a big hitamongst our guests. We still get compliments to this day from people whoremember how delicious the food was. Their southern BBQ themed menu was awelcome change of style compared to your traditional wedding entres. This wassouthern comfort food at its finest; we had so much variety that even ourpickiest eaters found a dish they loved. From the BBQ we had a combination ofribs, pulled pork, smoked brisket and chicken wings! Everything from the grilland smoker was cooked perfectly and flavor in the meats were incredible. Ourfavourite was the smoked brisket, which had a peppery char on the outside, yetwas tender and full of juicy flavour on the inside. They also provided an arrayof sauces to go with the BBQed meats. Some sides included mac ncheese, cornbread, collard greens and potato salad, which rounded out the meal nicely andgave people options as to what side they wanted with their meat. Secondly, Id like to point out that their service, knowledgeand experience was excellent. During the planning stages they had answers toall of our questions and always provided us with several options that suitedour needs from both a food & service and cost perspective. Theirunderstanding of quantities or food, servers, beverages, etc was right on point.The food and drink was served promptly which kept people happy and entertainedand there were just enough leftovers to feed our family that we had stayingwith us during the wedding. Admittedly, we didnt know much about how/what typeof beverages we should pair with our meal so we leaned on Dave and Jon fortheir input. They provided us with several samples to choose from that wouldwork best with our meals and the feedback was all very positive. Even the fewwine snob guests we had were impressed. Having their food truck parked outfront was a cool touch as well. Lastly, their commitment to making our wedding reception asuccess was more than we could ask for. These guys worked tirelessly prepping,serving and helping with the cleanup. Our wedding ran until about 1:30am on aSaturday night and we had to be out of the venue by 9am that same morning. Daveand Jon were working when everyone left and came back first thing in themorning to help pack and clean everything up. We would absolutely use Soul Kitchen BBQ tocater another event for us in the future and highly recommend their services toanyone hosting a wedding, reunion, social-gathering, etc.
