Beautifully arranged and follows a clean aesthetic. Not only a great place for Instagram pictures- fantastic beer and equally fantastic food. The prices are worth every penny for the love and thoughtfulness put into their food. Also have quirky things like wonderfully seasoned popcorn and giant pickles! Live music sometimes on their lovely DIY stage. Just a great gem away from the city. Definitely worth than a visit- or ten.
This place was recommended to me by my friend, and I was quite surprised. Though I am not from Abbotsford this craft brewery reminds me of the row of breweries in Port Moody, with one exception a nice grass yard out front.The inside of the brewery is quite small unfortunately so in the winter time I dont know what they would do for space. However they have a lovely covered patio with heaters and space on the grass. They even have live music twice a week in the summer time; which is pretty cool.I went there expecting their house cider, but to my dismay they were sold out. Initially the server said yes but then another came by and said they dont have any. It was a disappointment especially when the first server told me they had some. I then had the Dutch pale ale; a light beer not too hoppy. It would have tasted better with a slice of orange, but thats personal preference.I then order the tacos de carnitas. I was hoping to be wowed, but unfortunately I found the meat to be quite tough. It wasnt as tender as some other places Ive had. In addition they put way too many jalapeos on the tacos; even though I took them off I still could taste them. Aside from that they were okay.I tasted my friends marguerita pizza and after tasting it, I knew I ordered the wrong dish. The pizza dough was thin and light; and though I didnt see fresh basil on it the flavours meshed really well. The pesto was not overpowering and neither was the cheese.I will go back for the atmosphere!
