Small restaurant with limited seating but a good comfortable environment. Sushi was decent but the beef teriyaki don bowl was very good. Reasonable prices.
Wow! Loved this little sushi place. Just in town visiting and their food was amazing. Great service too. Everything from the tea to the sushi and miso soup we ordered was super delicious.
My favourite sushi place in Abby! The owner is super friendly and the food is delicious!! If you haven’t try their Maguroage, you should try it someday!
This is by far our favourite sushi place in the Fraser Valley. If you haven’t tried Sushiteria yet, you’re missing out! Don’t be fooled by the name of this place: it’s not like a cafeteria and it’s not a catering-only place! This is a cozy little gem with wonderful staff, warm service, and absolutely delicious sushi. John truly is an artist. You can tell right away that he takes pride in his work, as the sushi is always fresh and impeccably presented. The combinations of ingredients and sauces are superb. The prices and portions are spot on. If you love sushi, give this a try and you won’t regret it!
Expectations not met.I was here with my partner and ordered edamame, gyoza, and 4 rolls. The edamame was dry and chewy, gyoza were good. We enjoyed two of the rolls, the dynamite and the avocado and salmon roll. The other two seemed like they were cheap on ingredients and were not fresh. The spicy tuna roll was just a tuna roll with too much sweet chili sauce – was expecting an actual spicy tuna roll, not a cheap sugary sauce on a plain roll. The asparagus roll didn’t even have fresh asparagus! It was pickled, which isn’t the same thing at all! Overall it was quite disappointing given the prior reviews.
Best place to have sushi in abby!. I worked here for 5 months and I still, always visit here as a customer. Unlike any other sushi place in abby John never pre-make rolls and prepare them for later. He always keeps it fresh and clean. He never underestimate his customer he always do his best to show them respect with hes fresh food. I highly recommend this place!
Amazing food. Amazing service. The extra little touches that the owner, John, puts into his restaurant and food are just great. We ordered to go & he drew on our take out container – made my night when we discovered it at home! Went there for the first time tonight & was very impressed. Good prices too as a bonus!
