We have mochas , and the soup and sandwich.we enjoyed the drinks, but the food was nothing to shout about.we had a coconut curry and a roasted Pepper sandwich. the curry needed some spice or sour it was too sweet, and the sandwich was just a bit underfilled.
Old and very classic type of coffee shop! It’s very cute and small place, where on one hand they have shopping stuff like cards, mugs etc and a little seating area on the other, where you can enjoy your evening coffee! Good service and great coffee!
Long time hangout. I have been here in so many seasons with so many friends (and daughters) The food never disappoints. The extras are always worth exploring. The owners are great fun and have somehow retained the habit of hiring people who have a similar sense of ease in what they are doing.Coffee is good. Scones are AMAZING! Being of Brit heritage I love the meat pies, but try to rise above (depends on company) In spite of my eye rolling attitude to this season’s latest anathema, I applaud their gluten free stance — but then I am an old hippy and have lived through the demonization of meat, sugar, white carbohydrates, additives, butter fat — oh well, you get my drift.Go. Sit and drink your coffee. Browse the shelves. You won’t be sorry. Maybe we can even meet and roll our eyes — never a wasted moment 🙂
Had high expectations and this place didn’t let me down. Was expecting Yaletown prices based on some reviews and the look but was actually pretty cheap for a loose-leaf tea. Fabulous staff and very trendy. Really warm inside because it was sunny but I like it that way. Had the Lavendar tea which I allowed to go for too long so it was a bit bitter – will try something else next time. Was only half full on a sunny (but cold) Saturday afternoon which was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely go again!
A sweet experience. Crafty, home-like country atmosphere, warm country service, although definitely Dunbar pricing. It’s worth it for a treat but as a coffee drinker, not something I would consider affording very often. The espresso drinks (very $$) are prepared more than adequately. The dessert offerings are rich and quite a treat. You cannot always find a seat.
Coffee, comfort, eclectic shoppe. Good coffees, friendly service, nice patio and indoor seating. The shop is so cool: from the iPood baby jumpers to jewelry and home fragrances…. and everything in between? This place has so many unique gifts crammed into the eclectic shop. Good spot for locals, funky place for visitors.
