Rude and Runny. When we saw that there was a DQ in the village, my husband and I stopped in for our usual treats: an Oreo Blizzard and a Peanut Buster Parfait. Both were soupy and runny. When we questioned the clerk, he told us that the machine sometimes turns out softer icecream, and that it was normal. He didn’t turn the Blizzard upside down (it would have dumped all over the counter), and said they didn’t do that anymore. I know that’s not true because we order Blizzards way more often than I’d like to admit. We will not go back to the Whistler DQ.

Great place, Great service!. My family and I have travelled a lot over the years. One of our favourite treats have always been ice cream and ice cream cakes from DQ. It is wonderful that in Whistler there is now a DQ. Prices are very fair compared to other DQs in tourist towns and cities. The blanket statement it is one of the most costly DQs in Canada is certainly an exaggeration. The ice cream cake the manager personally made for us was one of the best cakes we have ever had from DQ. As far as the staff they are very helpful and the manager has always been polite and willing to go the extra mile. Whenever we have dropped by, the manager is always there working hard and gives a big smile and greets us. This place is a must for families!
Loves it!!. I was craving a little taste of home, a yummy blizzard treat and was more than delighted with my experience at this particular DQ! Not only was my smartie-cookie dough blizzard full of topping deliciousness, the service and overall experience was the best! The friendly staff, welcoming manager and spotless store made my time (eating ice cream :)) that much more enjoyable.
