Relaxing, lots to see. Pop into the Mallard Lounge in the afternoon for a cocktail or a glass of beer and appetizers. It’s very relaxing with a lovely view of Blackcomb Mountain and all the activity at the base — skiers, kids on sleds, the ski in/ski out lodges up the mountainside. Notable menu selections — the nachos: crisp tortilla chips layered with cheese, olives and jalapenos and guac, sour cream and not hot salsa on the side; crab fritters — balls of crab in a bland breading served with a cocktail sauce; salmon platter is great — smoked salmon, candied salmon, chunks of salmon and all with onions and capers.Great beer selections. A diverse group of guests — families and couples from all over.
