Diner from Vancouver : Gary. For my money Cindy’s provides the best breakfast/brunch on the North Shore. Great service, variety of options on the menu, generous portions and family friendly. The waffles and any of the benny’s are a must try. Cozy setting adds to the ambience. The menu is filled with many original combinations on traditional breakfast fare. Delicious!

Overrated. After hearing how great Cindy’s was for years, and passing by numerous times to see it busy, I finally tried it for breakfast. Wow. Was it disappointing. I had the ‘small breakfast’ which consisted of two eggs, two very small chicken sausages, one piece of multi-grain toast and pan fried potatoes. All very, very average. For $10.95. They can’t be bothered to specify on the menu what distinguishes the large breakfast from the small and had to ask. Seems obvious to describe what dishes include on the menu. Go figure. Coffee was just meh. Service was good but not great. Cramped environment as well. My fellow diner had one of their Bennies and it was just ok (for about $15). it looked small and not particularly appetizing with a plate far too large for its contents. What really shocked me was the lack of quality preserves or condiments. They had a tray of packaged Kraft jams and peanut butter (the exact same squares you see in a hospital or airport). No joke. And a squirt bottle of Heniz ketchup. Nothing homemade or special. Just the regular you would see at a cheap diner. Given the price, you would think the finishing touches would be of quality. The food didn’t taste or was presented as a high end fare breakfast establishment. Been there, done that. Will never return. Denny’s is just as good for breakfast.

Amazing food~~great prices and incredible service. We ate at Cindy’s last Sunday for the first time and were truly surprised! Everything was amazing from the service, the quality of the food and the presentation were all above and beyond our expectations! The 2 other families with us and ourselves are excited to return!! Once you try it you will be hooked! A fantastic discovery!

Great Breakfast. Cozy cafe with outstanding service. I chose the Salmon Benny and asked for no hash browns – the waiter (Patrick) offered an alternative of grilled tomatoes – they were without a doubt the best grilled tomatoes I’ve ever eaten! My eggs were cooked to perfection!I will return.

Mediocre food, poor service.. The food is fine. Nothing ground breaking, it’s a fairly standard breakfast joint. The sounds bounce off the walls like crazy in there so it can be very difficult to hear. My biggest complaint would have to be the owner, very pompous and arrogant. I’d rather give my $$ to someone more pleasant.

Great little gem if you enjoy uncooked wine in your hollandaise. Just saying. Had the crab benny and quite disappointed to say the least. The crab was not fresh as advertised. The runny hollandaise implies, to me, that they’re too cheap to thicken it with more butter. In attempts of being cheap I would rather see powder crap than half assed in-house holly sauce. The service was prompt and attentive but despite the great job on the front end, I will not be returning due to the lack care in the back end.
