Good. Food is good. One of the best sushi restaurants in West Vancouver
My favorite go-to place at Ambleside. Sushi take-out on the beach at sunset – bliss! Food and staff are great.
The Worst on North Shore. Used to be one of our favourite Japanese resto but quality has substantially declined. Sashimi is not fresh, food don’t taste good in general and service was bad to the point of rude. Won’t go there any more.
Eh.. Meh. 4.5/10. The negitoro rolls had tiny pieces of tuna and were very dry. The ginger was pink (not yellow!), didn’t seem like very high quality and again, very dry + not very flavourful. Most of the pieces of fish were ok, yet all tasted the same (very bad sign). I couldn’t differenciate from the different types of fish + for the price, you should. Period. Nevertheless the manager was very attentive to all of the tables, making sure his servers were satisfying his customers. It was pretty busy too (reservations necessary) although I have no idea why. I’ll never go back! I’d rather pay this price or a little bit more a different restaurant + leave feeling like I just had a delicious meal, rather than leaving feeling like I had eaten to eat. Consenus: eh.
No question, this place is the BEST sushi place in WV.
This is the best japenese restruarent on the north shore. We have gone numerous times. It seems to be pretty busy and it would be wise to make a reservation.
